Tara is New York born singer/ songwriter who discovered a passion for music at a very young age and went on to start leading worship when she was just 11 years old. 

Heavily influenced by a decade of living in western North Carolina immersed in the culture of life in the Blue Ridge Mountains, her musical style grew to envelope Bluegrass, Folk, Gospel, and Americana.

Tara’s songwriting is driven by a desire for other’s to know the heart of God and respond in sincere expressions of worship while holding the tension of both pain and glory. 

Her worship leading challenges others to go deeper and encourages them that worship doesn’t have to embody just one type of music. 

Recognizing the lessons and legacy of old hymns and spirituals, Tara seeks to revive and reimagine them for a new generation to cherish.
